  • Every student planning on attending the HHS Band camp is asked to complete the registration link.

    CAMP REGISTRATION 

  • Although we will try to keep all costs to a minimum, Band Camp this year will $20 per student. If there is a financial difficulty, please reach out to Mr. Harrin at harrin_j@hcsb.k12.fl.us. 

    Your child will not need anymore money for the week as all meals are provided.

  • Being prepared for camp is essential to having a successful week. Band camp is a vital part of skill development, both musical and body movement. Click on What to Bring Link at the bottom of page for a complete list.

  • Due to copyright restrictions, the music site is password protected.

    Music

    The password was sent out via Parentsquare to RETURNING HHS Band Members. If you are a new member please email Mr. Harrin at harrin_j@hcsb.k12.fl.us for assistance.

    The music may still be undergoing some modifications so please understand what is there today may not be what is there in 2 weeks.

     

  • Band Camp runs daily 7/27-7/31 12-9pm and 8/3-8/6 5-8pm.

    7/27-7/31

    12-3 pm Marching and Movement Fundamentals

    3-5 pm Sectionals with instructors

    5pm Dinner

    6-9 pm Music Rehearsal (Warm-ups, Show Music, Pre-Game)

    8/3-8/6 

    5-8pm Music Rehearsal (Pregame, Roadshow, Show Music)

  • Each student must register at the FHSAA Clearance website Home Campus and the NFHS website NFHSLearn | Interscholastic Education, Made Easy. 

    Each student will need to complete the following classes (about 30-45 minutes each) and upload the completeion certificate to the clearance website:

    • Sudden Cardiac Awareness
    • Heat Related Illness
    • Concussion in Sports

    In addition they must upload to the clearance site a copy of updated physical the form can be lownloaded here Florida High School Athletic Association. You must use the form from the FHSAA website to be cleared. If you have questions please reach out.

     

  • We will not have camp on 8/7 due to Open House. The HHS Band will be performing at the Open House/ Open Campus on Friday 8/7. The time will be announce during camp. They will be able to particpate in their open house after the performance.
